The standard rover minilites are all over ebay, some at bargain prices and some way over priced.
but you can buy brand new reproduction ones from most of the usual mini places these days. Not sure how close to the originals they are but they look very close.
If you do get a set of original ones just be aware that the early ones have stud holes inline with the spokes and the later (stronger) ones have the stud holes between the spokes.
I got a full set without tyres for £60 last year.

Yes, I'm sure it's the offset. Having spent all morning looking at other pics on cars with the same arches as mine, and also with similar-looking 5" rims, I was confused as to how the others looked fine, but mine didn't.

It seems that standard "Minilikes" have an offset of around 31, whereas those described sometimes as "deep dish" have an offset of around 14. I've just measured my car and that 17mm will make all the difference. Unfortunately, Minispares makes no mention of the offset on the product page for the wheels I bought, so it seems it's a case of caveat emptor.

Because I've fitted the wheels (although they haven't moved an inch), Minispares considers them second-hand and isn't interested in helping me, so not much to do but shop elsewhere and try to sell on the Minispares wheels in due course. It'll be an expensive lesson, but there you go :(

They do state the offset as ET14 in the description.

If it is any consolation, I think they look great.

Oops, I linked to the wrong page, corrected now - you need to dig a bit to find the ET. Like I said, it's buyer beware and I've learned my lesson. Since I've spent close to £700 with them in the last few weeks, I just thought that Minispares might have granted me a little latitude.

Thanks - I couldn't see any suitable cheap ones at the moment, and I just wanted to get it sorted. I've gone for another set of 5x12, this time with an ET of 31mm. I've double-checked and the 17mm less poke will make all the difference.

Still clearly shows the offset.  So not really buyer beware.

I have only ever found mini spares to be helpful and one of the most reputable suppliers out there. So personally speaking, I am not so comfortable with the suggestion that they haven't represented the wheels correctly.

Running a web based businesses myself, i know how any negative comments can impact on any future potential customers.

As for not accepting the wheels as a return. I think that is totally acceptable. If I were to buy a new set of wheels, I certainly wouldn't want them to have been fitted and to have nuts torqued up onto them.

My browser's playing up, there's no mention of the offset on the page I bought the wheel set from. Like I said, if I'd had a dig around, I'd have found it, but there you go...

I agree it's not on there but as you'll probably see by the comments people say they looks spot on so arguing that they don't fit is a bit difficult

They do fit, I haven't said otherwise. I just don't like the look. It would be very boring if we all liked the same thing :)

To be fair to both Norm and Minispares, they do say ET14* in the description but if you don't know what that means you'd never guess! I had a little look around at some of the other wheels on their site and some don't have any ET number (that I could see anyway). Not so much buyer beware, but buyer do your research.

Edit: * see norm's next post.

Actually, they don't mention it on the page I ordered from:

http://minispares.co...21.aspx|Back to

I guess I should've clicked on the links to the individual products where it is mentioned, but I'm not sure it would've made any difference to my purchase. Onwards and upwards :)

You're right, I must have clicked on a different link. Man this is getting confusing :) Hope you're able to find a good deal and get the wheels you want.
