I love 10" wheels, but I've gone back to 12s and love the look and feel of them again.

I've got 13s :) but that's because I've got a engine conversion and want the cruising revs to be lower

Purely my preference and yes I know it'll make my car handle worse than a set up car on 10/12s with perfect suspension travel etc but quite honestly it's your car so do what you fancy

Photo to accompany (nb. Car off road will not run at that height obviously)

And yep they need trimming of the arch and lock limiters.

Just do what you like op.

I don't know the width of my wheels but I know they are 13's, got 175/50/13 yoko's, like said they really don't handle well, follow tram lines etc, although in the dry on a flat surface they are good and (in my opinion) they look the dogs danglies

I set a little more toe in on the front, never suffered from tranlining after.

I think you fit whatever you feel looks and handles best for what you plan to do.
I personally like the look of all size wheels, I think mine looks best on 13's, as for handling, well I'm no Sterling Moss.
I don't use my car as a daily driver so concessions can me made.
It handles and rides nice, all my suspension has been renewed in addition to having my geometry setup professionally, and I think this is more important then the size rim your car rolls on.

175/50/13, they are simply yoko a539s.
What I mean is that it drops the cruising revs by 260 when I'm going at 60mph.
For example at 60 when it was on 12s the revs are 3400 now they would be 3140.

Hope that makes sense.

The nominal rolling radius of a 165/60 x 12 is 251.4 mm whilst the rolling radius of a 175/50 x 13 is 252.6 mm.
So they are virtually identical in terms of overall gearing.
At 60 mph in top the reduction in revs will be about 25 rpm. If the 13" tyres are a bit worn compared to the a 12" there will be virtually no difference.

12"
