I run Kad 4 pots with Vented, crosdrilled and grooved disks. Yes it's totally overkill for a fast road car but they were on it when I bought it.
It came with EBC Greenstuff Pads, I found them inconsistent with no real feel to them, I swapped to the Mintex 1144 pads and was very happy that I did. My brakes work very well from cold through to being hot. No Brake fade. Don't bury the pedal too hard as if you do I can quite happily lockup from cold and that's with a032r tyres.
Saying all that my brother uses a standard Cooper S brake setup funnily enough on his Cooper S! He's never had an issue with brake fade despite racing his and has used Mintex 1144 and Mintex 1155 pads.
