Finished painting the Mini s body today ...... pic 2 is off the gun finish, still needs sanding with 2000 grit  wet n dry, but shows how the more you paint the better eye you get for thowing the paint on, ,,,,,,,, still lots to do though.

Its a shame you cant run archless it would look ace like that. I think Huddersfield mini spares have a pic on there group to arch sale add of a similar set up.

Just bought some Miglia  arches, £48 delivered, im going to trim them down so there not as wide, but i love the way they hug the wheel shape, as the group2 ( which i also still like) dont really hug the arch at the  at the edges, ive got both sets now so ill see which suits the Mini best, so there maybe a set up for grabs soon.

Yeah I no what you mean if they were 10x5 you would be fine, I look forward to seeing the arches tested. I am sure you will find a good set that suit the car well miglia arches body coloured would look good. Nice wide stance.

................ finally fitted the arches, ive had the cut the rears at the back as they fitted pretty awful, they are all loosely screwed on , im  quite liking the black look, though im going to paint them the same as the body, going to but some stainless screws and rubber trim , n maybe throw some black paint on the body inside the arch, also just bought a complete (except screen) green glass set with opening rear windows for £45!, ..........anyway heres the pics.....
