Slight update....

Ive recently part-ex my Buddyclub P1's with the guys at rarerims.co.uk , loved those wheels but i had enough with 18" tyres costing the world and needed something a bit wider than the 7 1/2" i already had.

Now i have a set of 17x9J ET30 (25mm spacers all round, effectively ET5) and stretched 215/45/17 tyres on there. They wouldnt fit on at first but with a little help from the bead blaster they managed to get them on. Super!

Also, since my last update i had to replace the turbo which cost me £500 but the upside i have a new one! I've got a Greddy profec B Spec 2 Boost controller fitted as well so the boost isn't dropping off anymore. And a Z32 (300zx) airflow meter fitted which can flow up to 500hp so I'm well within the limits of my current spec.

Sometime soon i need to fit my new fenders too. I have rear "rivet-on" type over fenders which are 30mm wider and i have replacement front wings which are also 30mm wider and are vented.. to let the tyre breathe? who knows! lol.

Finally i'll be spraying it in a satin. Im torn between Midnight Blue, Pastal Blue and Nato green.

Anyway, ill do a decent update sooner, here are some pics for the moment to show off my new wheels.

As for paint, blue would really go well with the white wheels

Looks wicked dude! i've been tempted to spray my crx nato green aswell, saw a civic on pistonheads for sale in the same colour with some funky coloured rims and it looked wicked.

Off to take my mate to fetch his new S14a in the morning aswell..

Forgot to comment on that awesome bonnet scoop, where DID you buy that from? Bet its a custom bonnet isnt it dave lol

Hey i dont know if someones mentioned this before in this thread but the engine pics from the first page looks like a sr20 from an s14 not a ca18?? have you done an engine swap.....

Nissan 180sx's are from japan only, until 1989 they were ca18det's (but better that the UK spec for its 8port inlet and twin butterly design) thereafter they were SR20's as standard. The SR's in the 180's dont have the VVT and the older "Red Tops" also have more direct port designs overall.

in a nutshell, no thats a standard engine for that car.

been doing a bit of work on me mates s14a recently, fitted a massive apex fmic, set of 17x9.5 Stern splitties and he's just picking up a new exhaust/decat/downpipe, already got the manifold waiting just needs an elbow now.

Keep an eye out for us at the riv run, should be an s14a and either my crx or me other mates prelude depending which one we take and who co-pilots with who.
