Thanks mattmiglia ...these pictures are months old as I'm only uploading a bit at a time just to keep things interesting..im a good bit further on and the panel work is coming towards the end...yes most of the panels are M Machine and fit very well..the black panel in the last picture was a pattern part and a pile of pants..gave me so much trouble had to cut it in 3 places to get it somewhere near....

Awesome work there, this will be a very nice solid van when done... I think I will be going with those M-machine floors for mine..

Thanks..they are excellent just need fine tuning as they all do ..I made life difficult when fitting mine as I chose to leave the crossmember in to help with strength..this I have since replaced with a new one...

Looks great! My van needs inner wings, but outside my workshop at the minute.

Your garage looks like heaven - mini van and series one chevvie! Whats the crack with the truck?

Thanks...hope you get onto yours soon...the Chevy belongs to my friend..its going through the same process as the mini needing similar attention...it has a sting in its tail though it will be running Audi V8 Running gear  :-)

Good stuff! Just done engine conversion to 16v (K series) in my van, so inner wings will wait till the winter at the earliest.

Whilst doing the conversion, the van's stable mate was a friends series one chevy - great looking trucks! His is SBC, but on air bags. 4x4 Audi?

Excellent ...I missed out on buying a MK3  S Replica a couple of years ago with a K series fitted..to look at it it was all standard but the obvious front downpipe by the front valance told all was not standard beneath..The running gear for the Chevy came out of a RS4 estate so yes it will be 4 wheel drive..the intention is to use it as his daily so strong reliable mechanicals should see it go nicely...

I didn't want mine to shout out K series, but rather as standard as possible (within reason)

If you're interested, some pics here. http://www.16vminicl...9159#post379159

I look forward to following your progress!

Thanks they do look better than the flintstones ones it had previously..Shame i had to cover them in metal prep but that is there as  protection for future and as a good base for the paint etc..
