I went ahead and made my own kit.  Similar to the W&P one with two actuators and some levers,  Connected up to a Hawk Alarm, Not bad for £75 all in....

Any details on wiring that Hawk kit?

I made my own, used motorcycle brake cables to transfer the power and it works fine, I think it cost less than £20.

On wiring do a a search on your alarm and you will find a schematic, that what I did for my complete Clifford install - it's very simple to hook-up.

My car is a 1973 Innocenti Mini... not actually that easy to find an alarm schematic for...

Just an update on ASD central locking kit, i fitted this to my car about 6 years ago, its done just over a 1000 miles in that time, and only been in the rain twice, my central locking is playing up for the 3rd time, the 2x previous times it turned out to be corroded wiring, the wire goes white and flakey, it also does,nt solder well, which tells me it has low copper content. Its a pity as it worked well when fitted and the cable system seemed a pretty good idea. No doubt most of this kit is cheaply made from china.

I think it'll be the same generic wiring you get with all the central locking kits on the likes of eBay, identical also to the kit Minispares used to sell. The actuators are only cheapo, generic ones so all the wiring colours will be the same - the only half decent concept of their whole kit is the cable infrastructure. Should save ripping the whole lot out and binning it.
