We also have rot in the join between the bulkhead panel and the toeboard i dont want it to be a patchwork quilt and being ive got to get a bukhead x member and seeing another post regards bulkhead panels and what you can get i bit the bullet and got a cheaper option bulkhead panel now i have to work out how to get it to fit correctly

ive taken this project on alone now as my mate is working away full time
so its having new door frame surrounds [1 already fitted]
new bulkhead and new full scuttle the plan is to make many parts as he did originality is not important to me as is strength and structural integrity so its at the stage of having a new bulkhead panel atm

so as i previously stated i had this of a mate whos away working hence why he couldnt plod on with it ime also renting his house with a small workshop wich the car is still in so thats handy as didnt have to move the shell ....result
so a few issues or newbie mistakes
its had an A pillar inner boxing plate wich is an pattern part [passenger side] due to amistake of mine by bodging the welding and ruining the mating lip we started deseaming the passenger a pillar with a plate welded in behind for strength and so a big fat weld could be laid without blowing holes in the thin steel of the A post [oh and ive recently completed a welding course at college it was only a 12 week course but it has given me confidence in my welds and i have a basic grasp of things ime sure i will learn far more from actualy working on this
ive offered up the bulkhead panel and self tapped it as previously stated
the drivers side is an original inner boxing plate
ive offered up the top dash rail and it lines up nicely with the drivers side in terms of the curve and where the two panels meet its nice and tight
the passenger side however that has that panel changed
there curve is wrong and theres a gap between the two i need some advice on this before i can proceed has anyone changed this and was it the same story regards fitment
