I ran A032s on 10" wheels and was a little disappointed in their levels of grip. Maybe I was expecting too much of a difference over A008s, I don't know.
Anyway, when they wore out I went back to A008s for my all year round tyre. I could detect very little difference between the two for normal quick back lane driving.

First time I heard this and to each their own experience I assume.  Looked all around the web and consistently read of overall better grip with or without rain.  I will soon find out and I guess all depends on how hard one pushes the little car. My driving is definitely not all year round and lowest temperature I have my mini out in would be 5 Celsius (Fall).

I may have been using them below 5 degrees.

Hey SolarB, love that pic and going to use as a screen saver!

Question, any grip at that temperature or basically common sense and tippy toe around until u get to your destination?

Wow! I'm flattered anyone would want one of my photos as a screen saver.

There is a noticeable difference between warm roads and a frosty morning, although I wouldn't push the boundaries with frost around. My commute is through country back lanes with the occasional foray onto the muddy verges to avoid cars coming the other way. The A008s definitely perform better on mud and grass than the 032s and for me this, along with the cheaper price means I have stuck with the A008s.

I find they eat small stones when hot. There is a lot of grit/stones near my garage and it gets embedded in the surface. I used to worry about it damaging the tyre but they just seem to come back out and 'heal' up.

And my garage has a gravel drive leading to it.

Mind you a lot of the gravel has gone now :-)

So like...How many heat cycles does it take for an A032R to be less sticky than an A008? A dozen? A hundred?

I don't see how these things could last five years, regardless of mileage.
