Ok, order I placed for an HIF44 stub stack fell through as the company failed to delivery.

Does anyone have suggestions and or recommended places that I can order and ship over the pond?

MED are great bit expensive - just looking for the stub!!

Buy the MED one it's nice quality and excellent fit and finish, they sell them by themselves 21GBP $37 CAD or so, I bought mine direct, shipping wasn't a lot.

Advanced Performance Technology in Riverside, CA. David Anton who did a ton of work with Vizard is the owner and who has done a ton of development work on the A series engine. I have a couple of his velocity (stub) stacks in my parts. Send me a PM and I’ll send you pics. What type of air cleaner are you using?

How is the transition from the slight bellmouth on the hif to the start of the stubstack? I’ve already bought one very poor fitting stubstack and I’d rather not waste anymore money.

I went to order one from MED a couple of years ago. For a £20 stub stack they wanted £10 postage in the UK. Found one elsewhere.

Interesting and checked again for my location and £16 postage to Toronto - I simply cannot justify the crazy costs as just drop the damn thing in regular mail and I would be ok - Croc, please message me back as very interested in what you have and we can PayPal

You could 3D print a substack for little cost.  I'm on my 4th or 5th printed version now; http://www.theminifo...outh/?p=3610916

Minimine here in the UK do a few versions dept. on carb type. Have a couple for my hs2 twin setup and they sit nearly within the K&N 'pancake' filters. They are on eBay and use PayPal...not sure on postage to the other side of the pond, but my suit you.

It was a minimine one that I wasted my money on. It needed the holes enlarging to fit. Very poor. That’s why I’d be interested to see the fit of the MED product.

I did a load of flowbench testing on this a while back. There’s post on the forum somewhere. I’ll try and find it

Phil.

So Phil,

I guess I can scrap/sell the K&N and go with a modified stub stack - similar to the red one on the link you sent?
