I was thinking of something like that where it was distributing to different units but a single-post with ring terminals for something like the panel lights where it is one feed and several links from it, of which there are going to be a few ..

This would be a 4-way bullet with one input and three out .. I want one in and about 11 out! I've seen a wiring diagram with a 6-way bullet but don't think they are available now.

I also want to hide it as much as I can and keep the number of screw fittings to a minimum (loose wires?)  .. planning to have any "spaghetti" inside cabin and behind the dash out of sight so that helps ..

Here's some that will take up to 23 connections:

TE Connectivity AMPSEAL Plug Style Receptacle Housings

AMPSEAL connectors have a 2-piece contact hold design with secondary locking to prevent the contact from getting tore out under harsh conditions. These connectors accept a wire size of 0.5 to 1.25mm² .

Features and benefits:

• Rugged and highly reliable design
• IP67 rating to protect against the harshest of conditions
• Housed in a strong plastic
• 2-piece contact hold
• Integrated latch for mating
• Operating temperatures of -40°C to +125°C

Applications:

• Off-road automotive
• Heavy duty industrial use
• Agricultural applications

IP67 Rating:

An IP67 rating means this housing can withstand any dust (fully dust tight, even against sand) and can withhold an immersion in water for up-to 1m. It can also handle powerful water jets.

Wired by Wilson does a lovely kit. Easy to install and comes with instructions, highly recommend.
