How would you compare the red-dot ride to a standard cone? firmer? more 'comfortable',... i realise it can be tricky as it's very much subjective.

I don't mind a little lowering on a mini, but be careful lowering the back, it's supposed to sit higher than the front, and when you start evening things out it can cause some quite strange handling tendencies

I would say the ride is certainly much firmer as I have gone at least 500K so can confidently give feedback.  Again, the Moultons I had were getting a bit soft as back would constantly rub against the arches even over the slightest bump and in general the car was quite "spongy" in feel and handling.  I would say that the improvement is massive as the car handles better, corners with no where near the amount of rolling chassis I had before and finally the ride is more firm which is my preference.

I agree the back is to be slightly higher as per specs and being beaten up by Keith Calver with the same advise (LOL). Curious, what has been your experience between the two handling set ups as good to know in advance.

Red spots all round with Koni adjustable dampers, Initially a bit bouncy but turning the dampers up a notch all round cured that. Completed a 1500 mile round trip to Normandy in the summer without issue; no surprise a big improvement over 33 year old cones that were replaced. Ride comfort comparable to previous cars, Morgan 4/4 and Elise,

I have installed about 10months ago. Red spot cones and hi Los all round. I have also done around 700 miles since. The rears are sitting high as I need new lower shocks so I can drop the hi Los more. However the fronts are fully wound in and I still have around 3 inches tyre to wheel arch. Does this sound normal or am I missing something?
