is a description how to build the connection cable.When you buy the ttl converter have a look that it is a 5V one.When I worked only on my car, I splitted the cables and soldered my own three pin Pre amp sockets to it(you may take every 3 pin connectors).You will not damage the ecu if the cables are changed, just change them to a different position but with the description you should do it well.
