Lots been going on with the advantage.

Particually primer sanding and sealing up. Rather than go into detail, I'll just post up the highlights in photos.

And then onto the inside.

First up is to sand the primer

Then seal up the panel joins

And then on with the island blue

And I'm between that, I sandblasted and painted the first batch of parts

Now that looks really rather fine.....

I thought I'd ask the question we know is coming   Is that tintable raptor over the epoxy primer on the underside? And also what are you painting the running gear with?

There, that's that out of the way.....

Superb job and definitely better than new!

It's not tintable raptor, it's a similar product that is much finer than raptor bit yes, it is tinted.

I'm painting the running gear with acid etch followed by 2k HS satin gloss.

Cheers

Ben

Fantastic work! The cost of all this (especially working hours) must be enormous? Or is it your own car?

The cost is reasonable high due to the amount of work and also the sheer amount of parts required.

The car had been off the road since 07 so almost everything moving had to be replaced.

It's not my car, it is a customers.

Cheers

Ben

Fantastic work...I've only got some'minor' work required to my car (but niggly bits I just want sorted). Will be arranging to come and see you when we are allowed Ben. Booked up for the IOW 'do' later in the year, so hopefully if that goes ahead I'm hoping to see you initially whilst I'm there to then have her 'booked in' at some point. Could most probably have it done on the mainland, but I don't want anyone else but you to touch my car 🙂🙂🙂
