That interior paint finish is miles better than the exterior on my car, it looks so good! Lovely colour too.

Engine bay is now sealed up and painted

And the boot too

I also top coated the insides of the doors to make it easier than trying to get in there when the go on the stands for the outsides to be done

wW1Wnjc.jpg

And then I finally stripped the front sub frame

Wk5jhcu.jpg

It's in perfect condition but will be going off to be sandblasted

I then made a start on this crusty lot

Only got as far as these bits and ran out of time

I'll get the rest done tomorrow.

Cheers

Ben

Am I the only one who jumps on this when Ben puts a post on? I think I’m almost as keen to see this one in paint as the owner!

The next batch of parts are painted

Then I stripped down the front hubs to their component parts.

I put aside the parts I'm not reusing due to the brake conversion and was left with these few parts

o46WWH1.jpg

It's going to need cv joints too as they were very bad.

The hubs are very corroded and the bearings are bone dry and rusty

IVCnBJR.jpg

But stripped down and blasted, they are fine

I'll paint that batch tomorrow once I have blasted the driveshafts and then we are mostly there with the running gear.

Cheers

Ben
