What’s the advantage of the offset dish?

It’s said to increase power over a central dish. I’m not going to get into an argument about it though as it’s a bit of a can of worms for some people. You may think it’s worthwhile if you were fortunate enough to see what’s been done to Miglia engines over the years.
Do you know why? Not something I’ve ever seen on other engines, can only imagine the piston isn’t 100% centered under the sparkplug in stock engines? Always happy to learn



I'd rather not see this thread get hi-jacked. Perhaps start one on the subject ? I can see that it's likely to have an effect, but I won't go in to that here.

Update. MED currently have some std bore Omega diecast pistons in stock.
