Hi Everyone,

Happy Sunday - Project Saxon progressing nicely.

Question - what technique, tools etc do you use for refitting new cones on the rear?

The near side was easy as the cone went in from inside (rather than outside) the radius arm.  The off-side inner space is blocked by the battery box, so the cone has to be pushed in from the outside of the radius arm.  Being a new cone its bigger than the old knackered ones and I'm loathe to whack it with a hammer.

It's just too tight between the rear strut/trumpet and the cone.

Pic to follow.

Cheers

Remove the shock. Arm drops and you’re done.
