Stating to remove front suspension to clean up arms hub etc.

What is the best way to undo the cv nut with sub-frame off the body & no brakes?

Is it best to blast the arms & hub to clean off any rust?

Thanks for all replies in advance.

Clamping the disc in a vice with some soft jaws probably,. You might also manage it by fastening it to something with the wheel studs.

However you clean 'em protect any mating surfaces: bearing seats etc. A wire brush in a drill should do good enough.

Opps. One of the first things to undo before removing the subframe.

piece of angle with 2 holes in it. Hold onto the hub with wheel nuts. Won’t move.
