Been a lot of dropouts recently, especially in the mornings 07:00- 08:30 UTC.

These new errors aren't the "gateway error", they are "Web server is down". It has been doing it for days.

Strangely, it sometimes fails repeatedly on Firefox but will come up on Chrome or my iPhone.

I'm not 100% sure, but I'd say we have been bombarded and overwhelmed by bots again. I've left a message in the moderator's board, hopefully it'll be sorted before too long.

Apologies for the late response; I've only had a few minutes here and there to look at things the last few days.

The issue is largely the same as it was in that automated bots hit TMF an order of magnitude more than our actual users. For instance there are currently 8 members online but 4701 visitors, as a result the amount of resources that TMF previously needed to run smoothly just isn't enough because bots and scrapers take up all the resources.

The amount of resources TMF has on tap has been doubled while we try to work out an effective way to reduce the impact bots have on the server. Hopefully it'll be stable in the meantime.

That seems strange as i just searched and got straight on to it.

I used to search on the forum by typing mini forum into google followed by what I wanted to search. It would bring up a list of all the relevant topics on the mini forum.

It doesn’t seem to working for me like that lately.
