Reliant did the bodies and at least 50 of the homologation 200 remained unsold in the factory at Fazeley. I drove one of the clubman versions which were 200bhp as opposed to the 400+ of the group B.That takes me back. The company I used to run did a huge amount of design work on the RS200, but we weren't allowed to talk about it back then.Definitely. They even made the Metro cool with the 6R4.Rally Group B supercars, what an era that was, Cool cars back then.Nice. RS200 isn't it? My dream car when I was ten - didn't realize it wasn't really a normal road car!
I was offereed a new one for a very low price, but I said the Posche I had then was better! If only!

yes they were the leading experts in composite bodies at the time weren't they.. there was a comedy Reliant robin they painted in the RS200 colours somewhere but I can't seem to find it now with a quick search
this one always makes me chuckle though.. although I've heard it was a staged thing
group B was the absolute pinnacle of motorsport as far as I'm concerned, since then everything has just been getting more and more tame

Totally agree. Formula 1 too in the same era had some awesome cars when they used turbos the first time round. Took real men to drive those cars, now they're driven by whingy boys.

I just put a set on the front and it has raised the car also - have my HILO's at minimum at the mo, hopefully will settle down after some driving.
Anybody have a set on for a while and can tell us anything?
I've been using a set for a few years. To me they are what the factory should have fitted as standard. Comfortable but with more rebound control which stops the unloaded side of the vehicle lifting too much when cornering. A nice simple fit and forget damper at a reasonable price point.
