Update 3,

Been very busy this past month havnt had much time to work on mini but have managed to still do a fair bit, since my last update i have:

Got the engine out (took alot of persuasion)
Taken all the interior out
Got the front and rear subframes off which were abit rusty
Had Subframes and lots of other stuff sand blasted
Painted the subframes with one coat of por 15, love that stuff






I still need to paint the subframes with another coat then paint over that with some chassis black which will make them last for ages, im not sure what to do about the underside of the car though

I am also looking at an 8 port head instead of a 7 port because of minisports lousyness and and the price of it but im undecided at the moment and im also looking at the swiftune gearbox aswell as it might be easier to live with, its a work of art

Haha! nah, those jars come in handy

Rest of the car seems ok but the underneath needs a paint with something

Those subframes have come out well after just one coat! but i run out of paint will finish them when frost send me some more, then ill put the rear frame on and send it to my mate steve for a proper paint job

Ok next update,
Have got quite alot done since my last post ...



After getting the doors off i decided to start de-rusting the underneath and paint it with hammerite, warning to anyone who tries this its the messiest job on the planet using angle grinder with wire brush attatchment but cant think of a better way of doing it works though



Finally finished painting the subframes and will start building them up soon with all my shiny new bits
