Skoda best car in the world (being in the trade) very popular over the last five years. cheap for spares. better than audi and vw. The only work i have done on these is brake pads and service. And milions of taxi drivers arnt wrong.
That is true.
The only thing with skoda is that they are slow and a bit plain.

Ooooh, thats the best idea so far! Plus, they practically pay for themselves with the drug dealings you'll get with the car!
Get a 3 series or the Merc equivalent, comfy & built to last.....low end models should not cost a fortune on the insurance either.
Exactly, although I have always fancied the idea of a mini ice cream van myself !

Well said. I really can't fault mine. It's one of the best non-minis I've had.

I think you're wrong on both counts there. How many have you driven?

At the end of the day, you need to make up your mind what exactly you want. A daily driver or something to rag about on a daily basis ?!!!! You're going to have to make a compromise somewhere along the way !!!

If you can't afford to insure a performance car, why are you looking at other cars not far behind in insurance groups??!!

Why are you not looking at Mondeo estates, Laguna estates etc etc to cart all this rally kit around, stick a tow bar on the back and let your Dad/navigator/Someone else drive it to and from the rallys with a trailer on, and then you drive it every day without one on?
A decent diesel estate will give you plently of towing power, cheap insurance, loadsa room in the back for spares and tons of room for mates when on a night out!
106 Rallyes and such like? Buzz boxes with no purpose in life..... Get a real car!
