whoever is gonna do this should get some calipers from the scrappy and see what could work...

If a 1983 Fiesta was available with rear discs I'll eat several large hats.

I think the way to do this is to go to a scrappy as $way has said and just go and see what looks most suitable. Alot of them will be fitted to cars with 14" wheels plus, so it's gonna be a case of lookin for the smallest setup you can get I reckon.

I still reckon a 205 1.9GTi setup would be a good starting point, but maybe that's only because I am familiar with them. They are a failry flat caliper (wheel side of the hub) from what I remember. Then again, perhaps it's best to look at what has a suitable PCD in the disk?, as the studs from the mini hub will be passing through it. You'd also want one with quite a deep inset too, maybe that's where the 205 ones would not suit thinking about it. If it helps, I can get some measurements of the disks etc from my 306, maybe tomorrow?

hi guys,
just wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction as to the rear brakes on a r1 conversion what size are they and where could i purchase them?
