2010 mini cooper clubman VIN  WMWZF32020TY73202

Parking sensors have stopped working and the radio has no display either (happened at the same time) so no output from the stereo, which I'm guessing is why the parking sensors don't work.

Fuses are all OK, well the ones in the fuse panel in the drivers footwell, are there any others?

The buttons are backlit in orange but none of them do anything and the panel where the clock is normally displayed is blank

Is there a way to test if power is getting there?

What are my next steps?

Someone may be able to help, but you'd be better on a forum for the BMW MINI such as mini2.com

This forum is focussed on the (proper) classic Mini.

Sounds like the body module has gone bang. I can’t remember if they have a separate ‘media’ module, but either way it sounds like you’ll need a replacement and to have it ‘coded’ to the rest of the car.

Best bet is to get it plugged into a reader.

Sell it and buy a classic Mini and both will no longer be a problem. ;-)

My classic Mini's parking sensors work OK. They're called my eyes. I can see the ends of the front wings from where I'm sitting and there is hardly any overhang behind the rear window :)

Indeed and with the mirrors an even better view can be had.

Rover never made a mini with parking sensors, probably because the Classic Mini isn’t a bloated euro box unlike the BMW so called Mini!

Next steps, find a forum for the BMW!

The perfectly vertical and very thin doors help too.

My '08 Clubman doesn't have sensors so I'm not familiar with how they operate. When you select reverse and turn on the sensors is there any interaction with the stereo like muting the sound. if not its probably something to do with the body modual.
