Hi all, need some help! (1980 Mini 1000)

Getting to the last point in a restoration and having a really frustrating problem with the hazards/indicators.

I have got the hazards to work when the indicator is on and the hazard switch is turned on. But can't get the them to work on individual sides. The interior light is also intermittent. Will turn on but then won't turn back on after being turned off (assume this is due to the fuse blowing?).

Also got the problem that the inline fuse behind the cluster keeps blowing (15 amp).

The indicator stalk, hazard switch, interior light, and both flasher units are all brand new. As far as I'm aware all the grounds are solid as tested with a multimeter.

Does anyone have any suggestions on a fix or something else to fix?

Any help is much appreciated!
