Don't think you would see big brakes under the cooper s rims.

My opinion, 4 pots are better back to back than S calipers, same disc, pad compound.

As used on the last works Minis.

with an 8.3" disk you can get 10" split rims on with Kad 6 pots,

under the original S rims you are severely limited,  basically, its either S calipers, or a fiesta conversion as the only viable options, I seem to remember mention of the Specialist components 4 pots fitting some wheel's but cant find any details on them now, but I'd be suprised if they went under S rims

I hadn't heard of that, which type of split rims are you referring to?

I thought the KAD 7.9" disc was the largest you could go with 10" wheels?

generally most split rims i belive, spectrum/ force etc.

i think 7.9" is the biggest you can go with a 4 pot setup,

the Kad 6 pots are radial mount, so you can mount them so they just clear, then turn the discs to the correct size, IIRC at 8.3 " you dont even have room for stick on wheel weights... so not suited for the road, bu then the 6 pots dont have seals anyway... so not really suited for the road...

KAD did have a template on their website you could print out and check with your wheels for clearance.

True, It's shame they don't keep a list of what fits and what doesn't though. Perhaps it is down to liability.

Thanks, i had been looking at those 7.9" setups. They are expensive but nice and shiny like all KAD parts. I already have the original cast KAD calipers with 7.5" discs. But damn those 7.9" look nice :D
