Which oil do most people use in their A+ carb engines?

I use Minispares own 20w50 mineral oil.

Halfords 20w/50 for classics, seems fine for a manual car, despite not being an overall fan of Halfruads.

Brilliant read, but trying to find an oil on the UK that matched the recommendation is difficult. I just VR1!

VR1 is what I prefer, except for very cold conditions when I would recommend a good 10w40.

Duckhams do a 10w40 with the right ZDDP and a company called Mannol do as well, in fact most companies do sell a 10w40 or various viscosities of you choice with the right compounds included, but as the man said thet are listed as diesel oils. Most people will still put 20w50 in and wonder why they get cold oil synchro graunch, but hey ho that's the way of the world.
