Another below from the Mk1 Forum for those in North Wales.

"Highly recommend Star Autocare on Anglesey, North Wales for anyone needing tyres fitted in that region. Hywel and the team there are fantastic and a lot of care given."

Formula One Autocentres - I ordered the tyres from their website, and they fitted them to my new alloys, and even spotted that Mini Spares had delivered 3 charcoal, and 1 bronze wheel!

Norfolk:

Drayton Tyre and Battery Ltd.

Drayton

Norwich

My newly fitted tyres/wheels were well out of balance from the place local to me in Bedfordshire and I'd driven to Norwich so tried this place.  The owner is a solid chap who rebalanced them and checked the front toe for a very reasonable price.  I think he mainly enjoyed having something older to work on.  Not sure if they can change 10" tyres but worth a try if in the area.

Same, or North West generally. Took mine to Jeffreys HPT in Warrington today, they did my last set two years ago and no dice! Now I have a problem. I’m guessing Minisport in Padiham, but don’t think they’re open weekends anymore.

I couldn't find anyone local to me to fit mine. Ended up doing it myself, making a fixture using an old drive flange to hold them securely and removing the tyres with tyre levers. Balanced them on a bubble balancer.

I'd like to learn to do this.  I've googled the balancer!

I just had an old drive flange and welded it to a piece of tube and bolted it to a wooden board. Broke the bead using a scissor jack her an off cut of fence post that was g clamped to my bench leg. Protecting the rim is awkward as modern tyre fitting rim protectors are the wrong diameter for a 10" wheel. You really need som old school slender tyre levers, I used 3 dunlop tl3's, but could have done with more hands. Fitting the tyres was easy, plenty of lube and walked the tyres on using my heels.

One I would no longer recommend is Jeffreys HPT in Warrington. Have been my go to for years, used to be top notch. But when I took my daily in recently the damaged a pressure centre, but in fairness replaced at their cost.  Thought I’d give them another go for my 10 Revolutions, but as said above they called to say they wouldn't go in their machine. Collected them thinking that they'd not really done anything with them as they were boxed. Loading the rims and tyres back unto the car to try somewhere else this morning and notice one rim and one tyre are wrecked. Let’s see what they say Monday, but the tome was set on the phone earlier with “They weren’t damaged when they left here”, oh yes they were but I didn’t see it because your fitted boxed the rims and tyre back up before handing them back!

There are still 10 inch trailer rims, so looking for local trailer company might be fruitful.
