Do you use the rubber or the corke gasket on the rocker cover?

When you get a new rocker cover gasket, slide it over the outside of the rocker cover the night before and leave it to reshape until ready to fit.

The glue stuff you are on about is gasket paste and the common one is called Hylomar blue or red...

The ones i've used are cork impregnated with rubber....
