Holy Moly (or however you spell it).. are the cops really going to know this much? What about all those winnebagos you see towing smarts, BIMIs (one of which I am proud to say I passed doing over 130mph) and A Classes with A frames? I'm sure they don't get stopped by plod.

Probably 'because as you say they dont know all the ins and outs, but assume that a bloody great motorhome towing a little car is alright.

I doubt they would think the same/turn a blind eye if they saw a little car towing a trailer/frame with another little car on it.

I wouldn't like to be behind anyone towing a Mini with a Mini when they do a hill start

Right thats what a forum is all about i know about torque now (well a little bit) Think i will just forget about the mini towing thing sell up and buy a bimi as they can tow 1000 kg

This is printed in the 85 to 90 owners manual. Any one have one???

The MAXIMUM towing weight with a BRAKED trailer on a 1 in 8 gradient - Driver and one passenger, and 25kg luggage..........................406.5Kg
