Oow, dont you trust the super strength of your shell
Nah, being 6'6" I fancied something to shcmack my head on in the event of a crash!
to be honest, I am seriously thinking of going away from the Cobra Classic seats too, they are fapping poop in comparison to the Corbeau Forzas that I sold to Nick!
Might get a new set of them too.

Not that it'll fit in the back of my Megane, I'll have to be nice to the GF and ask if I can borrow her car!
Anyway, my damn fuel pipe is leaking now, from the tank to the pump, so that's the next awkward little job to do, once that's done I am going to replace the fuel in the tank as I am pretty sure it's stale.
It's like the car's trying to run, but just not quite getting there, I'm getting fuel at the plugs, but it doesn't smell like petrol should. So it's time to get it all out of the tank a put a gallon of decent fuel in there. Then, I'm hoping it'll actually go! I've got sparks, I've got fuel coming through, so it should run OK.
I've double checked everything there is to double check and I'm sure it's right. I think it's a combination of new engine, timing not quite 100% (though it's as close as it could be on initial setup), carb setup not quite right and also the stale fuel (the fuel being the most likely culprit).

But, I am planning on only using the rear section for the FReaK, the front section is going to be reserved for the roadster project (if I ever get it started). I'm going to use the front cage to weld to the A pillars to give it some more strength, so I'm only going to be using the front uprights and the front roof bar. The front part of the cage will then be chopped off just aft of the roof bar attachment. It's having the door apertures welded closed with door skins too. So the upright legs from teh front cage will have some cross bracing running off it and to the B-pillar, or an upright from a modified rear cage. :S

I'm semi-decided on chopping out the rear bins and losing the rear seat swab. It'll make it a load easier (well, it'll make it possible) to fit the cage. The bins are a bit shabby, so chop em off I reckon!
GOT TO GET THIS THING READY FOR MITP!!!!!
