if you take measurements of the battery box. Then go to halfords with a Tape measure, And Get the Highest AmpH Battery which will fit into that box.
Sorted!

and it says 100 watt is ok for a games console.
but why not get a 300 watt one and you have capacity for upgrades.

found some1 selling a slimline ps2 so will able to slide that in somewhere and also bidding on a 7" screen as i speak.
when all comes together i shall put a "how to" post up - if theres any interest anyway
- with regards to the battery situation, i still dont know what battery to run, lol. any advance on this?
if some1 could recommend a battery and tell me what car it is from it would be appreciated, thanks

They are easier to find mounting places for the PS2s also because they have the motorised CD drawer.

haha ok
ill start rough price guide now and add pictures in tmrw
i was going to place my origional ps2 in my car, but after bit of advice and thinking of space i decided i would fork out some money for a slimline one.
**Slimline PS2 (go for around £70 +) on ebay on a good day i would estimate spending about 80 for one....(Second hand)
**I then brought a *NEW* ps2 power adaptor for the car (plugs into cigarette socket) - can be re wired to run off mains (may wish to have a switch) - brought for £10 (from EBAY)
** IMO this is the most expensive part. the SCREEN. i would estimate about £100ish for a brand new 7" screen on ebay shops. i have just brought one for £120 from ebay (non china or japanese) although im sure if you are lucky enough to fine some1 seling a second hand one, you could pick them up for about 50 - 60. - i was lucky enough to find that person - so i have 2.
** then it is up to you how you wish to put it into your car, mounts, connectors, switches etc.. if you plan to use materials and make one i would guess around £20ish on the safe side.
so to recap:
*ps2 - 70+
*power cable(slimline) - £10
*monitor - New £100+ - Second Hand 50+
*other bits and bobs - £20ish
as i said, will post pics up tmrw. hope this helped
