personally wouldnt go for sony stuff really as have had nothing but bad experiences with them, with speakers giving up the ghost and cd player catching fire. Id go for a cheap alpine or pioneer, theres plently for the same prices available, check out froogle for cheap prices or caraudiosecurity. the design looks cool and the idea of the ipod is clever, if theres not enough space in the ashtray maybe under the dash or in the dash

pioneer stuff is really good value for money, good sound quality, very reliable and not over priced. with the ipod adaptor u can hide it pretty much anywhere. I waiting for pay day for my new speakers they are pioneer but they are the 10" components, i already have a pioneer spl subwoofer which uses a kenwood amp, which isnt fantastic and will be changing for a pioneer one asap. good luck with urs tho

I was running that same boot install in my first mine. 1/2 of the lining kit was provided by Andy at Equinox Styling, And the Sub box part was built by myself.

its quite an effective little boot install although if you can find somthing to put in the space between the tank and Sub, you still have to be aware that it could damage your Sub if its heavy.

The only thing I kept in my boot was my Steering wheel lock. And sometimes chucked a bag of shopping in there. I was considering buying a 10" Speaker grille from maplins for about £5. But never did.

i love pioneer! got two 12" subs - they sound MINT and (even though i bought them off a mate) they are really good priced

My other mate got a pioneer head unit that looks the part and the sound is Quality!

Pioneer ALL the way
