I took a work mate to pick up his car from the garage in my mini. He hadnt been in one since the 60s, and was totaly
gob smacked when a old lady in her mini waved at me, he asked if i knew her i said no, then went on to tell him it was quite common for this to happen.

LOL - i get that too when i take mates out. - Thats another point, mates love ur mini too, everything becomes a road trip. Even if it breaks down, it becomes a mini adventure (copyright BMW, so sue me! :( )

I love driving my mini, its the best feeling ever!

But i get extremely angry when people feel they must, at any costs, be in front of you. It's purely because you are driving a mini, nothing else. I regularly have to slam on the brakes to avoid some berk pulling out of a junction, roundabout etc right in front of me.

Never happens in my ex-military Land Rover though... not once... i wonder why?

I love driving my mini.

I'm always smiling and i feel free. Get a lot of respect on the road by most people. (apart from the BMW and landrover bullies)

Also gat alot of attention :(

Alive, though a bit blind at night. B)
It's OK if nothing is coming the other way thanks to the spots, but the OE dipped beam is carp - must get around to ordering some halogens.

I love it.. People dont bully me, I just get people looking at it. they hear it first then look and they seem impressed. Ive got an MG ZR aswell as the Mini which is much bigger and faster but I feel exactly the same driving that as I do the Mini... Well, no the Mini is much more fun!
