I had major issues with my hazards on my mini.

At first they just stayed on, Then they went completely. After swaping flashers, Playing with wiring etc, it turned out to be the switch.

It does sound like somebody has had a go at doing the wiring in that car at some stage as Hazards should be hard wired to a perminant live.

Might be worth your while running a multimeter down all the wires to find a culprit. may well be a bad earth. But still dosent really explain why all the indicators are working as they are all linked Via the hazard switch im sure?
