are you sure it is a left hand thread i bet they both screw off anticlockwise and you are getting mixed up.or I am mixed up, but they are definitely r/h thread on the offside of the car you undo towards the back on the nearside undo towards the front both normal thread.1/2 inch bar good socket and a pipe on the end for leverage.hope this helps
It would be interesting to see a pick of your cv DJH for the above reason..

Obviously It Must Be Dangerous Because Of The Rotation Direction And Inertia Of The Wheel At High Speed Would Loosen It Off! Hence Why I'm Not Doing Trackdays Currently.
how could you loose it with the split pin in place?
I've just received my 3/4 breaker bar and socket, so i'll give a try tomorrow, its holiday here

Left hand CV threads, Eh, think not!!
Not even the original 850 cv's were left handed. You must have an ubber special one. Id be tempted to remove it, mount it on a chunk of mahogany and sell it on Ebay as an Issigonis mistake

3/4 drive and a big fat breaker bar of the matching size
Mate, Be carefull with a 3/4 drive Breaker Bar.
I snaped a 1/2 Snap-on breaker bar at work a few months ago trying to undo a set of seized wheel nuts on a transit.
