THERES STILL A CLONKING KNOCKING NOISE!
arrrrrrrrrggggggggghhhhhhhhhhh. If anything now its slightly worse.

perhaps more info is needed. Just been out. Went full lock each way, no clonk. Bounced on car, no clonk. Wiggled car left to righ.....no clonk.

if theres no clonk doing all that whats the problem
what about your cones are knackered, and the hilo/ trumpet is moving in the cone because the cones gone hard and not compressins/expanding properly ?

Failing that, turn the radio up louder, always seems to work!

my car clonks when i reverse it on left hand lock off of the driveway. it passed its mot this morning (well except on emissions!) mini's make all sorts of weird noises which sometimes cant be tracked down!

Cones fine. Trumpet fits fine.
I do have one question. When I took the top arm off. I pulled the drive shaft. It came out a bit from the...ermm...whatever the big black rubber looking thing on the drive shaft is. It is suppose to do that?

have you considered the exhaust knocking on the floor and have u changed those front subframe mounts yet?? floors and towers!
