Sorry to hear about the accident, but glad everyone is OK. If you get another Mini you'll still be able to do the London to Brighton Mini Run. Just email the organisers with the updated car details.

Aaaah man! People are more imprtant than cars, that's for definite!

But I'm sooo gutted to hear about people getting their pride and joy damaged, I hope you're not all feeling too bad this morning, I know the morning after a crash is an uncomfortable affair, with the stiff necks and joints!

Big man hug for everyone from MiniMadMe!!! :withstupid:*

Sorry to hear about the accident, but as i always say bits of metal are repairable/replaceable, where as us people dont take too kindly to breakages.

perhapes if it aint too bad it could be made into a cabbo?

MOst important everyone is ok, but this does highlight the inportance of keeping cars in good order ie rusty floors etc, in the old days when things were not so hot on the mot, u might have not been so lucky.

glad everyone is ok that being the main thing and i hope you all recover well.

First off cheers for all ya messages of support guys - means a lot!

well heres my own version of events. in ramble form as thats kinda what im only up to doing....quite depressed lol

On route from Buck Barn to Devils Dyke, almost there, me now leading convoy.... fog was closing in... suddenly went over crest and hit a large patch of fog, visibility of merely a few metres...i braked to slow down for this as i felt it was plainly unsafe....saw the sign for this corner, which a few metres out i realised which corner it was, stilll little visibilty corner flashed up (corner being a downward sloping cambered around 110 degree corner....) at this time i was trying hard to brake (my non existant drum brakes :withstupid:) not really doing a great deal) thought through racing experience turn it in, see what happens still too quick for the corner understeered through a fence down a 2m slope (moved legs out the way at this time) an came to a rest front right corner first...

Followed by the 106 which went down the slope hit a pergular and came neatly to a rest......finally saw another mini (being Raz) basically rolling down the hill front over end and landing on its side....i then jumped out saved ollie and raz's life :D followed by sam, everyone being ok..... and fine....

umm well the peoples house it was came out and were suprisingly nice (they could have made it so difficult for us) (thanks for the guys that are sending flowers -thumbs up-

umm yeah so there we are what a sh@t nite for minis!!!

Oh yeah as for my car, erm engine moved back, all new front panels needed...umm new subframes....floor came back although the steering wheel didnt move too much which is surprising...

o well!!! - we're all safe
