Door poppers.
Good fun and alot easier than bending over to open the door handle. Had a few times when i first bought them of locking myself out of the car with it still running. But now have buttons on the bottom of the wingmirrors that can't be locked with the engine running!
Bert:
the window is a little juddery but could be ironed out if I took the time to either weld the handle gear onto the drive motor gear OR grind down the current drive motor to fit into the gear on the winding mechanism. Will eventually sort it out!

Any progression on this Gizzum?
Nope... been fecking busy at work so i have had absolutly no time to sort it out. It still works though which i am quite impressed with! will stick something up when i finally get around to it!

Hmm, might have to go to the scrappy and find some vectra motors. Then i can mock up some swish looking doorcards to go over them for my clubman

how about using a length of push bike chain to mount the motors in the bottom of the door?

added bit of lateral thinking....
how about using a length of push bike chain to mount the motors in the bottom of the door?
Now that IS a good idea - you can add a bit of movement if you're using a chain, so in theory you *could* put the motors into the door without needing to use a big bulge to hide them under the door cards.
Hmm....
