There's always the door pockets to hide the motor if needs be......

Thats what i was thinking, incorporating a speaker pod into the build to make it look less 'bulgy'

Ive only just got my clubby but im looking to get it wired up with all the electrics, just wondering why you cant just run the mini window on a runner and cable like most cars do? i havent had the door to bits or anything so dont know whats inside yet! But going by the size of the orig regulator, it would be a good weight save to get rid of it and fit a motor with runners?

how about using something that fits on the door completely and doesnt use the winder mechanism off the hand wound bit? my friend did something like this but he got wire fed ones and the panel went back on the door afterwards :-

did anyone else try this? i fitted some today from a volvo 850, similar fit in terms of the gears, not quite right but near enough to work ok. i've made an arm rest to cover the motor and fit the switches to but i've found that it really struggles to move the window up when it gets halfway. anyone else find the same problem? or could it be something not related to the motor?
here's a couple of pictures
