What if I had been the other way, and someone had gone into him, would you still be saying the same things?! The car would still need repairing?!

your sig says your 15years old - you have no idea of what it is to drive on the road and before you start ranting that you can drive, i had driven in motorsports since the age of 12 but still found it a shock gettin on the road. you need to grow up fast

yes back to the subject, naff off mini resto and grow up, just because i crashed my car on a section of road which is like ice in any kind of wet/damp weather doesnt mean i dont look after my car, i was devestated when it happened and i cant wait to get it on the road again. when your driving your car in all conditions on the road then i might accept your moaning until then just leave it.
anyway.
i dont really know what sort of power to expect, i chose to go for a 1098 because i think the long stroke should give it a pretty large amount of torque. i could have just gone down the 1.3 route but i fancy a little challenge so why not?!

finally got my car back on its wheels again after being sat there since last october on axle stands!!! thanks to pete for sorting me out with a bottom arm.
shouldn't be long until it seen moved to its new home and work can contiue at long last.
i'll update again when i move the car.

hi mate i have just stumbled accross this post i am thinking of doing the same thing to my mini by creating a 1098 turbo i was just wandering what problems if any you have come accross? also what spec is your engine going to be what turbo,head,cam,ect ect? any help would be great thanks in advance jamie

its all on hold at the moment mate, barely any progress whatso ever since the last post :cry: :cry: :cry:
its still sat there looking sorry for its self until i can get it moved, but i am very busy at the moment with uni.
hopefully back underway soon, with a couple of small changes to the plan :cry:

engine arrived today. 1.6 vtec just waiting for a new home
