Bit of progress today

a job i was dreading for a long while..
but turned out to not be so bad at all really in the end









just need a 1/2 inch UNF Nut to go on there and the cotton reels and all is done... oh and that cup that goes on the top too

I love the colour... how come the bonnet hasn't been done yet?

because i had holes to drill... and i dont like drilling nice paint :lol

I can imagine!
But I know you've spent a hell of alot on the paint, more than I'd like to spend anyways... guess its just the case of a flatting back and a lick of rattle cans me thinks...

yeah some times i think it would be easier if i had of got a cheapo paint job as it wouldent take 10 hours per job :lol

but one thing i will say.. REGARDLESS of the quality of your paint job ALLWAYS fit ALL your trim before painting. Drill the holes then re-fit after painting!

Fitted the handbrake leaver last night

also realised its guna be time to attack the interiour now..

not a lot left to do to suspension...

so next attack will be on the interiour of the car

I swear this is just so uniform....almost labratory grade mini build. Can you PM or post total costs and parts? I Know that sound stupid but I am seriously interested in just how much.

top project very nice keep it up all these pictures and attention to detail will reap rewards when it comes to selling it if you ever do i have just read through it all and apart from thinking how good this is i was thinking how much i wanted to buy it !!

hey, saw this on mini resource but only after reading it on here how amazed i am

just a quick question though, where did you get your etch primer from and the other stuff you used, and was it all painted on in the engine bay, underneath and in the inside? only reason i ask is because youve been really thorough and would like to follow your idea

i hate rust lol
