To put it really simply, Juice wont start.
She's been sitting on the drive since I got her lateish last year and has been started...what... about... 20 times. Anyways, took the battery out two or three months ago and charged it and she was all good.
Went to start her a month or so ago and she wouldn't go. The starter motor was trying and whatever but there was obviously not enough power. Hooked her up to my Peugeot and managed to jump her and left her running for a while.
Went to start her yesterday and there's not a lot there. I know that the battery is dead/dying because the alarm's not working properly. Anyways, went to jump her again yesterday but still nothing. She wouldn't start at all.
Thought about pushing her up my drive and rolling her back down again to try and start her so I could leave her running (for longer this time!) but her wheels have locked up and she's not going anywhere is a hurry.
Now that I have babbled and made myself seem like a really bad owner, can someone please help me?
Sorry if it's confusing.

had the same thing with Mrs bungles mini yesterday
I'm guessing its old fuel
modern fuel only lasts a few months for some reason and after that it goes off and a engine wont run on it
i would drain the tank and put fresh in
take the plugs out and give them a clean
remove the dizy cap and dry if there any moisture in there
and get back to us if it still doesn't start

*Sigh* Gotta find the money for new fuel then. That'll be interesting! I hate being in full time education. No one wants to employ ya because you can only work 2 days a week! Grrrr.
Thanks for your help mate
If anyone else has any suggestions, by all means, I will try them too.
Will see how I get on though

Once you do get it started, it needs to be driven rather than just left to run on the drive. Takes something like 6 -7 miles to replace the power used to start a car iirc.
Also means all the other moving parts wont seize up

Yeah I know that she needs to be driven but being without a job means I'm also unable to get a welder out to repair her so that she'll pass an MOT. She's declared as off road at the moment.
Everything comes down to money. =[

Just sit in it and pretend to be dirving it with the engien running! Do that for ten minutes and it'll put some juice back in yer battery!
When you say the brakes are locked, is it the handbrake that is sticking? May be a good idea to leave it in gear instead of leaving the handbrake on the next time you leave it.
Check fuel, if old replace it, check for sparks, check for damp in dissy cap, all the stuff that Bungle has said really!

Definately not the handbrake. That doesn't work so it's been left off!

Forgive me for being blonde but how do you drain the tank?
Can I not just put new fuel in with it...?
Sorry if I sound stupid!!!

cut some hose pipe stick it in the tank suck the hose pipe till u get the petrol in your mouth (dont drink)
then make sure the end of the hose pipe thats the petrol will come out of is lower then the end inside the tank sit back and enjoy watching money you spent on petrol going down the drain (bucket).

If there is not much in there it probably won't matter if you put fresh in, it might be a little bit iffy but with use it should be OK.

Well when I put petrol in her about 4 - 5 months ago, I only put £10 in. She's definately not empty but there's not £10's worth in there now. Maybe I will go and get some more...Ooooh...I dunno. I need someone who knows exactly what they're talking about to come and look at her... for free!

HI
Have you got a haynes manual??? I has a good little you can go though when the car wont start.
I have had this problem in the past and i solved it by removing the dizy. and spraying WD40 in there, giving the plugs a good clean, making sure the leads are all in good nick and new fuel. lol
Hope this helps

go under your car look at the back of the rear subframe you will so the petrol flexi pipe witch is connected to the steel pipe un do it and blow down into the tank , or what i do is just take the hole tank out and tip it upside down doesnt take long to take it out also you can see if there is rot behind the tank
