I had the exact same problem on my car, water appeared to be coming UP into both the drive and passenger footwell as well as in the rear, took it to my local mini specialist and it transpired that my car had aftermarked oversills fitted, they look just like normal sills with drainage bumps (for lack of a better word) however as all drainage slots face into the middle of the car therefore not visible form the outside a quick check showed that they had not been slotted or drilled, ten minutes later with a drill bit all hols drilled car dried up and no more water ingress!

ah ok i'll ask if he had new sills put on :shifty: so basically i need to drill a few holes in the sills? easy job;)
