or... remove starter motor and lock flywheel with large flat bladed screwdriver between starter ring and transfer case, saves screwing (lol) around with all this in gear, hand brake on, foot one pedal poop.

33 is the closest mm size bearing in mind that mini is imperial not metric! drop into me after work as i have the correct size to undo the bolt.rad is out, socket is shall we say 'loose' (34mm closest ive got) what size is the bolt??

actually the 33mm that i lent miniman 86 was a fraction bigger than the crank pulley bolt.nah, 34mm. That what I used. 1.5inch is a bugger to find.

is there a spring that goes with the tensioner to push the tensioner against the chains?right bottom pulley and casing off now thanks to fifif!!! now put on new tensioner and on full tension it is sitting about 10mm away from the chain, any other ideas?
