i've had enough of all the sound stuff just not working day to day. fix 1 problem and somthing else crops up, so im getting shot of it, cutting it all back to run the speakers off the head unit and possible a sub. its more hassel than it worth.

fair enough, once you start adding more and more things to a system it just adds more and more things to go wrong.

i usually find a lot of problems are down to the wiring, some days i would get in the car and there would be no power to the headunit, so i'd mess about trying to get it sorted go over a bump and it'd go off again! Also my sub used to turn itself off from time to time which was always annoying.
In the end i realised that simplest may be best and ditched all the crossovers and amps and just went to a headunit some front speakers one amp and a sub and it all works okay. Havin said that iam in the middle of the in-car pc project so things may get a little complicated again!

think so, i want bigger amps now tho, i fancy a proper good 5 channel amp, but it will need to be a top one. which means lots of cash.

Jus get a loud car and dont bother with a stereo, it adds too much weight anyway

over the next couple of months ill be getting rid of my stereo, i just wont be able to hear it over the new engine and stripped out interior. i prefere to drive listening to the car anyway.

I can definately reccomend an ORION 5channel amp, that ran my whole system exteremely stable, and it was pretty loud considering there is only 1 amp!

at the moment, my budget is 0 as it's comming up to christmas and people want stuff from me also im saving for the body work to be shorted with is a mean £4k!! so i can't afford lots of cash on amps. im bidding on some stuff on ebay, a alpine 4 channel and a graphic equalizer.
i need a bigger source unit really. but its all money which im short of, just started a new job which should bring in more cash.
Alex. expect some cool for the rivera run.
