If i am honest i am not sure about the way it looks. i dont think it looks right on a van. dont shoot me it is just what i think.

i kinda agree, maybe putting it more in the middle would look better but its your van so if you love it then go for it

Its yet to be modified...
When it starts to look tatty, I do plan to get it shotblasted then chromed... cut out the middle bars, to fit some nice wooden slats - darkly stained, then a proper old fashioned cooler box is going on - like the VW's

I think it would also look better extended!! Either chop it in half and add some,
or buy 2 and chop 1 end off each and weld them together.

Hey Dog if you can sell the rack youv'e got my brother has started making Vw roof racks,
i'm sure he could do a special to suit a mini.

He's looking into making an itlian job style spot light bar at the moment.

This week he'll be at Malvern at the VW meet with some racks if you are interested.
I'm going on Sunday with a mate who's looking for a bus , If you go give me a bell
when you are there and I'll introduce you to my Bro.

and to be honest, I like the rack... I've done some tweaking to it today, looks better Just need some junk on there now

That'd be awesome mate! But I am at Dragwars next weekend... but like I said, see how I get on with this rack, I was looking at it today a bit closer, and well, i won't be hard to turn it into a wooden slatted one.
