If you need a flywheel, Stig was selling a steel Ultralight jobbie, complete with clutch assembly.

Well good news, and bad news...

Good news is, I got the pistons back in :w00t: ARP bolts/nuts fitted to the big ends, torqued up, and all is great :)
Timing chain is fitted, and set to dot-dot, need to go on the search for a dial gauge now, to set the cam in spot on :)

Went to fit the block to the box tonight, alas took off my gearbox bolts from the 998 that was originally in the Van, went to see if they fitted the block, and found they are too narrow :ermm: meaning my holes on the block are bigger. Although the bad news is that I couldn't fit block to the box, the good side to it is, I have the bigger bolt holes so the block and box will be bolted together with stronger bolts than standard :) Which is great news :) - Just a PITA that I now have to go out and get some :(

So tomorrow night - I might aswell start the strip down on the 998 & subframe...

ooooo gowan then :)

When you going to have it running? Christmas?
Your on :( want to put monies down on who wins? :) :w00t:

as for hours - I am back to how I was with the white Mini... come home from work, quick drink, read the post, and out into the shed, last night never came in till midnight! I had about an hr break on here, but thats it :) But I am spending around 4-5hours a night fiddling either with the Van, the 998/subframe, or the 1380... Roll on the weekend - time to clean the bulkhead me thinks :ermm:
