Whens the next meet? I only ask as I have a feeling it won't be running long before I split it. Want to get it back together for the summer if I can.

If thats the case dan, i'd say lets see you in summer, wouldn't want to hold you up, and seeing as pie's mini aint around, nor mine nor infact most of the worcs retro peeps. Wait till summer, we'll ave a laff, because dean chad said he'd bring his bike engine beasty down when its done too....wOOp wOOp

The drive home was interesting....I seem to have no front brakes and was leaving a trail of smoke behind me when slowing down as I was locking the rears!

Still, it goes as well as I remember and sounds absolutely magic!

Although I several hundred from the original build.....and i'll make sure I get plenty of this rebuild!

alright mate, just noticed the thread!

you say the brakes weren't working eh?? thats funny because after you drove it, it went back into the garage. oh well.

sad to see it go really and such a shame i didn't get to use it as intended, but i know it is back in the best possible hands and at least i have had my name on the log book of this motor!!!!

i'll keep 'em peeled on this thread and pop round when i get the chance and make you a brew whilst you get your hands dirty!!

To be honest I thought they felt a bit, not right, when I test drove it on sunday. I thought it may be low on fluid in the front master cylinder.....no biggie though as i'll be stripping it all in a couple of days.

Pop over any time you're around and i'll show you how i'm getting on!
