I would imagine there are fail safes and cut offs to cut the engine in the event of a problem. That being said I don't think you'd need screens up to protect yourself, you wouldn't put up a protective screen between you and a running engine in a car would you?is it me or is there no safety protection whilst the motor is being used? I couldnt see any screen protecting the people sat at the laptop, ruddy sure I woudlnt be sat there!!

Orrrr, the rod just happens to hit the stop button on the computer or control panel! lol

awesome engine similar power to my 4xv R1 engine 130ish bhp 998cc R1 needs more revs to make that power though...

One word:
NICE.
Its pity when someone like Simon comes on and tries to help (like other engine builders) they just get slagged off.
I cant wait to see SC build a 999cc 16v and see which engine does what power wise.
Or are SC only sticking to 1380cc?
